Certified Organic Winter Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris)

$5.00

Thyme, also known as za'atar, is an ancient herb rooted in Middle Eastern culture. Thyme is a woody perennial with edible leaves that are very aromatic and can be used fresh or dried. Thyme is the signature flavour in many traditional Middle Eastern dishes such as Man’oushe Za'atar Flatbread, which is enjoyed most mornings for breakfast with olives, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh mint and a cup of shai red tea, in homes throughout the Middle East. Thyme is also a significant food source for pollinators, attracting honeybees and bumble bees. All sales of our Certified Organic Winter Thyme Seeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. This Spring, plant a pollinator garden as a symbol of peace for those suffering in Gaza and neighbouring regions in the Middle East.
